Attract Money

Jesus said...

"I came that they might have life, and have it more abundantly."

"How Can I Use Affirmations to Attract Money and Material
Possessions?"
- by Jeff Staniforth

==========================================

So you desire to gain material things in life? Affirmations are usually effective in this respect - maybe even more so than with other desires because material desires often come with stronger emotional attachments.

You'll recall that in my previous article, "Why Do Some Affirmations *Work* - and Others Don't?" I emphasized that affirmations that are emotionally charged are the ones most likely to work. So when you are emotionally connected to your desire for material things, you can use the power of affirmations to see how quickly your need is manifested!

Power Affirmations for Attracting Money. If your desire is to have an abundance of money to fill your needs, practice this affirmation:
"I always have an abundance of money to meet all my needs."
Repeat it several times, then stop affirming. Be silent while knowing, visualizing, and feeling how it is to already have the amount of money you desire. Feel as though it has already happened, and that all your needs are more than satisfied. While in this state, hold yourself open to all the ways and means by which you will have money flow into your life to meet your every need.

Following are other power affirmations for abundant supply. Choose the affirmations that feel appropriate to you --those that resonate with you, or strike an emotional chord. It is important that the words feel comfortable to you and are in line with who you are. Feel free to create one for your specific need by substituting other words that have special meaning to you:

Affirmations of Abundant Supply:

* I am now open to receive.

* Life is easy, I have an abundance of whatever I need.

* I now have surplus, all my needs are being met.

* I have unlimited abundance.

* I now give and receive freely.

* This is a rich universe and there is plenty for all of us.

* I now live in a rich and loving universe.

* Money comes to me easily and effortlessly.

* I am always supplied with whatever I need.

* I move forward with an expectancy of my greatest good.

* I look for and receive a bountiful supply.

* My greatest good is coming to me NOW.

The last affirmation was a turning point for me personally.

I've since created about 20 variations of this affirmation, and created a screen saver I call "My Ideal Relationship With Money". And, for a limited time only, I am giving this "Invest in your future" screen saver away for Free when you purchase the Sculptor 3 program. For details, Click Here.

TIP: How to Maintain the Emotional Charge of Your Affirmations

Most people who practice affirmations experience the challenge of maintaining the emotional charge of their affirmations. That's because although the power of thought is amazingly strong, it remains strong for a short period of time. Its quality changes and tends to diminish with each repetition.

For example: Suppose you recite an affirmation such as: "All my needs are met instantaneously." The affirmation produces a feeling, and you understand and connect with the affirmation at a certain level. But when you continue repeating the affirmation, "All my needs are met instantaneously," again and again, the thought seldom maintains the same level of emotion previously achieved. With each repetition, you tend to lose the mental picture of what the words mean, and they start to have less meaning.

Affirmations that are meaningless fail to reach deep enough to touch the limitless powers of your subconscious mind.

To prevent this from happening, I've developed the software program called Sculptor 3, which combines affirmations with 7 of the best results-amplifying technologies that are tested and proven to increase the power and speed of manifestation. Mind Control

Many people have yet to realize the power of their own mind. As a spiritual being, I believe that there is a part of the mind that will not stay with us when we pass over because we will no longer need it. It is the part of the mind that works on autopilot, directing and managing the intricate and complex workings of the body. It is much like a computer, which is programmed to keep the body working and to handle trauma.

Example: I have a problem with my heart which causes it to race without obvious reason, and also causes PVCs, which are premature ventricular contractions. I have discovered that by sitting calmly, almost as if meditating, I am able to instruct my mind to regulate and synchronize my heart, blood pressure and anything else that may be related to the problem. It works. I have shared this technique with others who also confirm their own amazing results. You are simply telling your computerized brain to take control of a situation that is not working properly on its own.

This is why I am sharing the power of affirmations with you... it also works in a similar fashion - reprogramming your subconscious mind which has stored prior information that effects your life today. That information may need to be changed. What applied when you were 10 years old does not apply today. But the information is still in there, and the subconscious mind delivers output according to what it has learned, good or bad.

You can influence your future by doing a little spring cleaning of your subconscious using affirmations.

"How Do Affirmations Promote Vibrant Health and Well-Being?"- by Jeff Staniforth

Whenever someone speaks of healing through affirmations, many people dismiss it as esoteric - or even nonsense - and they tend to not take it seriously. However, there exist volumes of scientific evidence that affirmations are an effective approach to healing and the achievement of vibrant health. They have even been shown to promote regeneration and rejuvenation of the body.

Dr. Carl Simonton of the Cancer Counseling and Research Center in Fortworth, Texas, reports on breakthrough studies that use self-suggestion (a form of affirmations) in treating disease. "We think people are now beginning to realize how much the mind and the physical body are intertwined... We know that the same pathways that are used to transmit negative things, like cancer growth, can also be used to transmit positive things that can eventually restore a person to health".

How do affirmations promote health and effect healing?

Illness starts in the mind. When you change unhealthy thought patterns and replace them with positive affirmations, you also change the energy that flows to your physical body from your etheric body, chakras, and through your energy meridians.

Your etheric body is the human subtle energy field - one of the layers of the aura believed to permeate all living things. Think of it as a blueprint of what is in your cellular structure - a blueprint that reveals your state of health (or ill health) --and gives an indication of conditions that often have not yet manifested in your physical body.

The spoken word, such as a power affirmation, elicits a strong recuperative response in the etheric body - a healing energy that permeates to the physical body, causing healing to occur. Affirmations are powerful instruments that influence both mental and emotional patterns, which are held in the etheric field. The more frequently a healing affirmation is repeated throughout the day, the more effective it is in carrying out healing.

Following are power affirmations you can use to help heal, regenerate, and regenerate your body - and foster radiant health. As I've mentioned in the previous issues of this newsletter, choose the affirmations that feel appropriate to you -- those that resonate with you, or strike an emotional chord. It is important that the words feel comfortable to you and are in line with who you are. Feel free to create one for your specific need by substituting other words that have special meaning to you:

* I am perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit.

* I am well, I am whole, and I am strong and healthy.

* I am healthy, and full of energy and vitality.

* All the cells of my body are daily bathed in the perfection of
my divine being.

* I am healthy, happy and radiant.

* I radiate good health.

* My body is a safe and pleasurable place for me to be.

* My sleep is relaxed and refreshing.

* I have all the energy I need to accomplish my goals and to
fulfill my desires.

* God's love heals me and makes me whole.

* My body is healed, restored and filled with energy.

There are many ways to use your chosen affirmation. You can recite it aloud to yourself repeatedly, or you may want to write it down repeatedly. The key is to repeat it over and over again throughout the day. Repeating your affirmation reprograms your subconscious mind to accept these thoughts as reality, and ultimately create changes in your life that will manifest this new inner reality.

Affirmations

I believe in affirmations among other things, as a way to improve our life and our outlook on life. Just as repetition is required to play a musical instrument, memorize a poem or learn a dance step, so it is with learning and adapting new concepts into our minds and our subconscious.

A fleeting reading of a passage may have a momentary impact, but reading it daily can change a life.

Therefore I have decided to include in this blog some things that I want to read daily and hope that you find them useful also.

"Why Do Some Affirmations *Work* - and Others Don't?"
by Jeff Staniforth

By definition, an affirmation is a statement repeated time and again either verbally or mentally -- or written down. The words of the affirmation statement - in themselves -when spoken, thought of, or written *without* a pictorial (visualized) or emotional connection -- make a very weak affirmation.

Affirmations, when worded correctly -- and when emotionally charged - are able to tap into the unlimited creative power of your subconscious mind, and manifest your desires.

Affirmations are not all created equal. Some are, of course, better than others. There are *power affirmations* that have been proven again and again to work - and I'll reveal some of them in a moment.

When you examine the structure of these power affirmations, you, too, can learn how to create your own powerful affirmations for your specific purposes.

Consider the following:

"I am what I choose to be."

"All my needs are met instantaneously."

"I love and accept myself exactly as I am."

"_____________ comes to me easily and effortlessly."
(Fill in the blank with what you desire.)

"I am now perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit."

"I now create my wonderful, ideal life."

What do the above power affirmations have in common?

1) They're stated in the present tense.

An affirmation is more effective when stated in the present tense. For example; "I now have a wonderful job." Avoid affirming something in the future tense, e.g. "I am going to have a wonderful job" or the results will always be waiting to happen.

2) They express a positive statement.

Affirmations need to be stated in the most positive terms possible. Avoid negative statements. Affirm what you do want, rather than what you don't want. For example: "I am no longer sick." This is a negative statement. Instead, affirm: "I am now perfectly healthy in body, mind and spirit." This statement is much more powerful as it is positive and reinforces your desired goal and doesn't confuse your subconscious mind with the mention of the undesirable condition.

3) They're short and specific.

Short affirmations are easy to say, and have a far greater impact at the subconscious level than those which are long and wordy. Keeping them specific and to the point adds power as the idea is uncluttered by extraneous elements.

The mechanics that make affirmations powerful are:

* Repetition
The importance of repetition cannot be overemphasized. It imprints the affirmation into your subconscious mind.

* Emotions
Get involved, be passionate, and use your emotions. Think carefully about the meaning of the words as you repeat them rather than just writing, typing or saying them.

* Persistence
Practicing affirmations with persistence achieves results much sooner than practicing them periodically. Successive sessions will have a compounding effect.

* Belief
You don't necessarily have to believe your affirmation initially, in order for it to work. Belief will grow with your forthcoming successes. What you do need is the ability to *feel* what it would be like when the desire you're affirming is fulfilled, or your need met. Every time that you have a need -- and that need is met -- a certain "feeling" is produced in you. You need to evoke that same feeling when you state your affirmation. In other words, you need to feel with every fiber of your being that what you desire has already happened. Without this feeling, your affirmation is powerless.

* Impress Yourself
Personalize your affirmations. They must *resonate* with you -- feel right for you. The stronger your connection with the affirmation, the deeper the impression it makes on your mind, and the sooner you will experience positive results.

So there you have it - the simple formula for creating affirmations that work. Based on the above, you can easily create your own affirmations to manifest any desire or need you have in life.

TIP: Although the practice of affirmations is easy, some people find it challenging to repeat the affirmations continuously while maintaining the highly charged emotional state necessary in making affirmations work. DID YOU KNOW... that you can use your computer to make the affirmation process effortless - and that you can automate those challenging aspects (such as maintaining highly charged emotions), and thereby, manifest your desires more quickly? Click here to find out how.

Life or Death

A group of frogs were travelling through the woods, and two of
them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around
the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, told the two frogs
that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the
comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all of their
might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were
as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the
other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.
The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again,
the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out,
the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained
to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him
the entire time.

This story teaches two lessons:

1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging
word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make
it through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes
to kill them. Be careful of what you say.

Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words is
sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such
a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of
the spirit to continue, in difficult times. Special is the
individual who will take the time to encourage another.

Power

We already have all the power we need, but sometimes, maybe even most of the time, we just don't realize the potential of our God given power.

"The greatest discovery of the 19th century was not in the realm of the physical sciences, but the power of the subconscious mind touched by faith. Any individual can tap into an eternal reservoir of power that will enable them to overcome any problem that may arise. All weaknesses can be overcome, bodily healing, financial independence, spiritual awakening, prosperity beyond your wildest dreams. This is the superstructure of happiness."

~ William James, Harvard Psychologist, the Father of American Psychology.

Why should we coast through life when we can take control of the wheel to manifest a life that is worthy, powerful, pure and sincere? A life of passion and joy is just waiting for us to take it out of the box, open it, and live the greatest life we can.

This is our gift to God.

Don't Worry

A pastor had been on a long flight from one place to another.
The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign
on the airplane flashed on: Fasten your seat belts. Then,
after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the
beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence.
Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."

As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of
the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of
the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve
the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."

And then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could
be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightning lit up
the darkening skies, and within moments that great plane was
like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the
airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next,
it dropped as if it were about to crash.

The pastor confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of
those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I
could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed.
Some were praying. The future seemed ominous and many were
wondering if they would make it through the storm.

"Then, I suddenly saw a little girl. Apparently the storm meant
nothing to her. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat
on her seat; she was reading a book and everything within her
small world was calm and orderly.

"Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then
she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in
her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible
storm when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell
with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half
to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and
unafraid." The minister could hardly believe his eyes.

It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally
reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to
disembark, our pastor lingered to speak to the girl whom he had
watched for such a long time. Having commented about the storm
and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.

The child replied,
"Cause my Daddy's the pilot, and he's taking me home."

There are many kinds of storms that buffet us.

Physical, mental, financial, domestic, and many other storms can
easily and quickly darken our skies and throw our plane into
apparently uncontrollable movement. We have all known such
times, and let us be honest and confess, it is much easier to be
at rest when our feet are on the ground than when we are being
tossed about a darkened sky.

Let us remember: Our Father is the Pilot.
He is in control and taking us home.

Don't worry.

Lindsay Lohan

Just 21 years old, barely two weeks out of rehab, today was the day that Lindsay fell so far off the wagon that it would take an army of lawyers and a seriously demented judge to keep her out of jail at this point.

The 21-year-old actress was booked on two misdemeanor charges of suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic, Talbot said.

DUI, cocaine possession, suspended license, police chase...

Obviously, it is beyond Lindsay's human strength and willpower to straighten out her life. Maybe she needs extreme spiritual intervention. Admittedly, I have enough people on my prayer list already, but I will send her my prayers because I believe this is a life that can still be saved. If Robert Downing Jr was able to turn it around after literally YEARS of addiction, certainly this girl has a chance.

Hopefully the media and general public will see the cry for help instead of taking another opportunity to judge her and condemn her.

I know how I would handle my own daughter in a situation such as this, but apparently Hollywood parents and relatives don't consider it their duty or responsibility to help this young girl recover.

Of course, you can't "Make" someone do something if they don't want to.

The old saying goes "you have to hit rock bottom" before you can begin to recover and change.

So here's my rant and my question...

Just how low does rock bottom go with this generation?

In my day, one arrest was enough for most people to consider themselves at "rock bottom."

God help Lindsay and others like her to discover their passion for life, their mission in life, their purpose on this earth, and to follow that dream with all the fervor and passion the universe can lend them. May they be consumed with goodness, light and love to dispel all negative influences trying to destroy them. May they learn to live in, by and through Spirit. May they stand strong against addictions, temptations and may they learn a new definition of "fun."

Religion

Religion is simply one's personal philosophy on life and life's purpose.

My view on religion is that too many are religious but not enough are spiritual or humanitarian in their efforts. However, blaming society's flaws (such as war) on religion alone is as absurd as blaming the flaws on education alone.

Since there are so many different "groups" of religions who gather themselves together to affect their influence on laws, morals, etc. then which group is at fault?

Every group claims to have and know the only true religion and the one and only true God, so which of them is lying? How would we begin to convince them of the error of their ways?

Many blame societal flaws on the lack of education, with education being judged on one's degrees, majors, etc.

Some so-called educated people would have the world believe as they do or consider them ignorant. Hmmm, sounds a lot like the "religious," so how well-educated is that?

There are many religious people with doctorate degrees (including scientists), and many atheist people with doctorate degrees.

Neither of these labels - "religious" "educated" "ignorant" can encompass the truth of how and why a society fails or flourishes.

How well the citizens live, the freedoms they have, and their access and willingness to learn about other religions is, I believe IMHO, the key to ending the divisiveness among religious sects and nations.

A full belly with access to medical care, a roof over their head and a safe bed to sleep in is more apt to be tolerant of other belief systems and more likely to live in harmony with them.

Therefore, my religion is inclusive of helping everyone, everywhere as much as it's in our power to do so, to have access to everything needed to have a normal life where essential daily needs are met, and then allow them to decide what their religion is without fear of retribution.

Seven

Seven is the number of completion according to some Biblical numerologists.

The superstitious claimed that 7-7-07 would be a lucky day or at least a good day for new beginnings.

There are seven seals, seven trumpets (Revelations), and there are 7 days in the week.

All of this got my brain to advancing to the next day, the 8th day, the day after the completion of creation and the day of rest. Wouldn't the 8th day be the day for new beginnings? Well, I choose the the 8th day for my new beginning.

The seventh month in this seventh year is also spiritually meaningful. God brought Noah's ark to rest safely in the seventh month. Granted, that month wasn't July, but it was the seventh month of their year, and July is the seventh month of our year.

I've noticed some really great things happening as well as some pretty unusually traumatic events in the lives of some of my friends, as well as on the news around the world. Maybe my Mother was right (again) when she said that whenever blessings and miracles abound, the negative energies also get riled up and distraught causing distress to those who are not enlightened, and even to some who are, but are lacking in faith or the spiritual maturity to recognize certain events for what they truly are - obstacles. Obstacles which can become opportunities when approached properly.

It's all about attitude and approach.

Life is what you make of it.

Focus on happiness, good health, beauty, kindness, optimism and love.

Karma

Do you believe in Karma?

Christians believe "you reap what you sow" which is basically a definition of karma in today's world.

The Golden Rule - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is another example of how Christians believe in a specific law of the universe that repays your actions right back atcha in a similar fashion.

Definitions change over time, so the original meaning which was related to reincarnation has been transformed into a measure of a life, a moral compass.

"What goes around comes around" is also a popular belief that parallels karma.

These are laws of the universe and the same thread runs through most of our dominant religions and belief systems.

Taken from an article at Tickle...

In Hinduism, karma is focused on the individual, who is encouraged to offer their actions to God. Hindus believe that the soul is reincarnated, with each soul engaging in a continual process of birth-death-rebirth over many lifetimes. In each life, the soul's karma dictates the kind of life that person will have. If you've accumulated enough good karma, you'll be reborn into a more comfortable life that includes the opportunity to share the knowledge you have gained through behaving the right way in past lives. After living many lives of continued good karma, you reach a state of Nirvana, free from the cycle of birth-death-rebirth.

Buddhist beliefs about karma have a good amount in common with Hinduism. This is because both religions are informed by the sacred texts known as the Vedas. Thus, these religions are called the Vedic Faiths. Hindu and Buddhism both believe in reincarnation and karma. However, in Buddhism, instead of offering your actions to God, individuals are encouraged to follow the eight-fold path, which is a course of ideal action that leads to enlightenment. Buddhists also reject the notion of a social hierarchy and with it, the idea that good karma will allow your soul to be reborn into a higher social position.

Regardless of your spiritual faith, the concept of karma is a useful one in determining how to lead a good life. By monitoring your intended thoughts, words, and actions, you can see for yourself how much good you're putting out into the world, and thus how much you can expect to receive in return.

Lying

Have you ever noticed how people rationalize their way to deception?

Not telling the whole truth can be a lie in certain circumstances.

1.   Opening charge accounts without telling your spouse.

Surely everyone agrees with this one, but just in case, here's why... When you get a new credit card, you are putting your family into more debt. Anything that affects your family must be told. A spouse has a right to know how you are spending your money, or their money. The flagrant practice of opening "private" or "secret" accounts among couples is a sign of how little our society regards honesty, integrity, and the sanctity of marriage.

2.   Allowing a child to "do" something with the promise of not telling the other parent.

I am not speaking of divorced parents where one parent has sole custody. I am speaking of households where both parents live with their children. This practice of "Don't tell Mom" or "Don't tell Dad" is teaching your children that it is ok to lie to get what you want. What they don't know won't hurt them? It hurts the character of the child. Why not choose to have a family discussion over the matters that both parents do not agree on? If your spouse refuses to have logical discussions, then you might consider marriage counseling. Really!

A person cannot be balanced and whole if they are deliberately keeping secrets from those they love.

A person cannot be spiritually whole and in sync with God if they are lying, because they know that God does not approve of this practice.

The reason God or the Creator doesn't approve is because He knows you cannot be truly happy if you live by the rules of deception.

Come clean, be honest, be happy.
