Since I last posted about deer, I have had the rare opportunity of seeing a deer grazing in broad daylight just a few feet from the busy highway. This has happened 3 different times, 2 of which were in the last week.
I am awestruck by this development. This is a lone deer every time. Two of those times it may have been the same deer as it was within a mile or so of the first sighting.
The third sighting was about 5 miles away.
Has anyone else noticed such abnormal activity among our wildlife?
I would be curious to know if this is happening every where. Perhaps I should take it as an omen of good things to come. I'd certainly like to think so.
Or perhaps the deer is reminding me once again to look between the shadows and see what isn't plainly visible. There are many forces at work, some good, some not so good.
Whatever the deer appearances mean, it reminds me to pray for our earth, nature and all the creatures of the earth as man's progress continues to weaken and damage the earth that provides the very source of our existence.
