Living Bridge

Have you ever heard of a living bridge?

Well, I had never heard the term until today. I came across it while browsing other blogs.

In India, there are several instances of these living bridges, which are formed by the trees and the tree roots. Many of them are over 500 years old and the strongest of them can hold fifty bridge walkers.

Creation is truly wonderful. There are so many things in nature that those of us who live in the U.S. have not been privileged to see for ourselves. Thank God for the internet, where one can research any topic they have an interest in and even be surprised by some information they would never have looked for because they didn't know it existed!

I found the story of these marvelous trees at the Be A Life Saver Blog.

Daily Mail UK has some fabulous photos.
